    Russian Standard LogoRussian Standard Vodka has announced a six month long sponsorship deal with Sky which will see it’s advertisements broadcast to millions. The ads will be the first TV campaign by Russian Standard and will be shown on Sky Movies Box Office and Sky Movies Indie. The deal will also see adverts online and in the Sky Movies magazine as well as Sky Text.
    The Sky Pub Channel will feature a 1minute long ad which is expected to be seen in around 46,000 venues across the UK.

    Senior Brand Manager for Russian Standard, Joanne Birkitt, said ;
    “This sponsorship deal is a massive move for us with huge investment being pumped in to the brand to take us well in to the first half of 2010. This is a fantastic opportunity as it provides us with an integral part of our consumer engagement strategy and is a natural extension of the Russian Standard cinema advertising campaign which hits screens in the run up to Christmas.”

    “Sponsoring Sky Movies will really help us engage with our target consumers and help build brand loyalty. Having seen us on cinema screens in the summer as part of our £2.3 million Meet the Russian Standard campaign, this is a natural move to re-capture and build relationships with our drinkers, who we know are interested in film, fashion and music. It also gives us the opportunity to really own the film category and, via the interactive element, reengage with consumers we reached with Meet the Russian Standard.”
