Smirnoff has teamed up with London events guide ‘Time Out’ to provide a free iPhone app.

The app is available from today and gives the user up-to-the-minute details of London nightlife, dining and culture as well as one-off events happening in the city over the festive period. An online / print campaign will promote the app which will also give users the chance to win a trip to new York via competitions which can be entered via the app or the Time Out website.

Features of the app ;

• Geo-location technology that allows users to view Time Out & Smirnoff recommended activities around their exact position within seconds, complete with event previews.

 

• Up-to-the-minute recommendations and event information, with functionality to send preferred event picks to friends.

 

• Functionality to add favourite cinemas, restaurants, venues and areas, allowing users to keep-up-to-date with what’s on in their favourite places.
