Beer Money
Times are hard of late, and one London Pub chain has decided to give a helping hand.
The Grand Union, which operates pubs and bars in London area has produced their own currency which is sold to customers lower than face value and to be tendered at a later date in any of their pubs !
The scheme starts on September 1st and patrons will be able to purchase ‘GU Vouchers’ with a face value of £60 for £50, with rising quantities going as far as £600 worth of vouchers available for £500. The owner of the Grand Union Group, Adam Marshall said: “Times are tough for many at the moment, so we’ve decided to cheer everyone up with some genuinely free money. There really are no catches”We think this is a truly great idea, and it’s nice to see such a pro-active approach being taken in the current financial climate. You can get more info at gugroup.co.uk
